The Clocks New Zealand story began in 1964 when
Peter Frampton started in the watch and clock industry repairing
and servicing clocks and watches. In 1976 Peter opened his first
retail store in Hamilton and went on to open a further store
in 1989.
After having sold his stores, in 1996 he became
involved in a small company that specialized in importing clocks
and barometers based in Christchurch. Upon purchasing the business
in 1998 he moved it to Hamilton. He did this with the dream
of extending the range of quality clocks to include not only
traditional but also contemporary styles of both clocks and
barometers suitable for every taste.
This dream is now being realized with product
to suit not only furniture stores but also design, gift and
jewellery stores, interior designers, marine stores, with barometers
and time and tide clocks - not forgetting of course the SPECIALIST
CLOCK SHOPS.
Clocks NZ is truly a family business with Peter's
wife Christine and eldest son Jared being part of the team.

products of some of the best clock and barometer manufacturer's
in the world such as Franz Hermle, Howard Miller, Anton Schneider,
Vilbor, Comitti" says Peter.
